Hi, I’m Hanif.

Full name Muhammad Hanif Sugiyanto. I’m a software engineer in Indonesia, and I’ve been shipping mobile apps since around 2015 — first Android in Java, then a long stretch of UIKit with RxSwift and Texture, and these days mostly SwiftUI, with detours through Flutter and Go that didn’t stick.

By day I work on Stockbit, one of Indonesia’s largest stock-investing apps. Akhaneva is the other half: the label for the apps I build on my own time, for problems that are too small, too personal, or too weird for a day job.

The apps are a fair map of what I’m into. I like music enough to build a karaoke machine for the car. I miss physical photographs enough to build an instant camera that prints onto a scrapbook. I care about kids learning to read and count in Bahasa Indonesia enough to build Calistung, voice lines recorded and all. The rest — mileage, receipts, pain tracking, hearing — started as things I or someone close to me actually needed.

House rules

Every app ships the same way: no third-party analytics, no ad SDKs, no crash reporters, no account system. Data stays on the device unless a feature explicitly needs otherwise (iCloud sync, say), and when it does, the app’s privacy policy names it. This isn’t a marketing angle — it’s just less to maintain and nothing to apologize for.

Now

Currently in the works: Juara OSN, CortiMax, Tono, BeatHuman.
