Your Privacy Matters

Stack is designed with your privacy in mind. We believe your purchase data belongs to you — and only you. This policy explains how little data we touch.

Data We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers.

  • No analytics or tracking SDKs
  • No personal data collected
  • No usage data shared with third parties
  • No advertising identifiers

Data Stored on Your Device

All your data — receipts, product photos, purchase details, and warranty information — is stored locally on your device and synced via Apple iCloud if enabled.

  • Receipt images and product photos
  • Purchase details (item names, prices, dates)
  • Warranty information

This data is managed entirely by Apple’s iCloud infrastructure and is subject to Apple’s privacy policy. We have no access to your iCloud data.

Subscriptions

Stack uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat processes your purchase transactions through Apple’s App Store.

  • We do not have access to your payment information
  • Subscription status is managed anonymously
  • No account or email is required to subscribe

Sign in with Apple

If you choose to sign in, Stack uses Sign in with Apple. Your Apple ID credentials are handled entirely by Apple.

  • We only store your name locally on your device
  • Your email is stored locally in Keychain if provided
  • No credentials are sent to any external server

Receipt Processing

When you scan a receipt, the image is sent to a third-party AI service for text extraction. This processing is transient — the image is not stored by the service after processing is complete.

No personal identifiers are attached to these requests.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored on your device and iCloud:

  • Delete your data anytime via Settings > Delete Account
  • Export or view your data directly in the app
  • Disable iCloud sync in your device’s Settings
