Terms of Use · About Juara OSN: Game Matematika IPA

Short version

Juara OSN is an offline learning game for Indonesian students preparing for the OSN. There is no account, no login, no email, and no name to enter. Every question ships inside the app, and all progress — XP, nyawa, streak, medals, mistakes in the Kotak Ulang — is written to a file on your own device. We run no server and embed no analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash-reporting SDK. Two things do leave the device, both optional or purchase-related: Game Center (only if you sign in) submits your XP to Apple’s leaderboard, and RevenueCat receives your purchase transaction when you buy a Paket Juara or a Langganan Juara, so we can see how many subscriptions are active.

1. Who we are

Juara OSN is published by Akhaneva (“we,” “us,” “our”). This policy describes how the Juara OSN iOS / iPadOS app (bundle ID com.akhaneva.juaraosn) handles information. The app is made for students roughly 10–15 years old (SD kelas 4–6 and SMP kelas 7–9) and the adults — orang tua and guru pembina — who set it up for them.

Juara OSN is not published in Apple’s Kids Category. It is a general-audience Education app that happens to be designed for school-age students, and it is built to be safe for that audience by collecting as close to nothing as an app with in-app purchases can.

2. What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. Juara OSN has no account system, no login, no email field, no name field, no profile photo, no chat, no comments, no user-generated content, and no in-app browser. We never see your IP address, we have no record that the app was opened, and we cannot identify any individual student or parent.

The data the app needs to function is stored locally on the device as plain files inside the app’s Application Support directory:

  • progres.json — your jenjang (SD/SMP), XP, level, nyawa, streak, medals, per-node stars and Legendary state, Kotak Ulang review schedule, simulasi results, weekly Liga standing, purchase entitlement flags, and settings (Mode Fokus, suara, getar, soal dwibahasa).
  • laporan-soal.json — an append-only log of any question you flag with Lapor Soal (the question ID, one of three fixed reasons, and a timestamp). There is no backend to send these to. They stay on the device until you reset or delete the app; we only ever see them if you tell us a question is wrong yourself.

Neither file contains a name, an email address, a device identifier, or anything else that points back to a person.

3. Permissions we never ask for

Juara OSN does not request microphone, camera, Photos library, contacts, location, Bluetooth, local network, motion, HealthKit, calendar, or App Tracking Transparency permission. The app has no use for any of them, so the matching usage descriptions are deliberately absent from the app’s Info.plist and iOS will never show you a prompt.

The app plays short sound effects and haptics through the standard audio session. It listens to nothing — there is no microphone code in the binary.

4. Push notifications

Juara OSN registers for no push notification service and sends no remote notifications. Streak reminders, if and when we add them, would be scheduled locally by iOS on your device — we will update this page before any such feature ships.

5. Game Center — optional, and off unless you sign in

Juara OSN offers a single Game Center leaderboard, XP Juara (com.akhaneva.juaraosn.leaderboard.xp), showing all-time XP.

  • It is entirely optional. If you are not signed in to Game Center, or you decline the sign-in sheet, the app simply carries on — every Game Center failure path in the app is silent and nothing is ever blocked by it.
  • If you are signed in, the app submits one number: your total XP. It sends no name, no age, no answers, and no progress detail.
  • Your Game Center nickname and avatar — which are yours and Apple’s, not ours — are what other players see on the leaderboard. Game Center is Apple’s service, governed by Apple’s privacy policy, and Apple’s own parental controls (Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → Game Center) can turn multiplayer and leaderboards off entirely.

The in-app Liga Juara is not Game Center. It is a local weekly cohort generated on your device from a fixed name list — the other “players” in your liga are simulated, so the feature works offline and no real child’s data is ever shown to another child.

6. Purchases — Paket Juara and Langganan Juara

Juara OSN is free to download with a substantial free tier: the whole learning path, every tier from Dasar to Master, unlimited Kotak Ulang review, the daily Tantangan Juara, one sprint simulasi, the full interactive tabel periodik, and Liga. Three things sit behind the paywall — unlimited nyawa, the full set of Simulasi formats, and the Komo costume wardrobe.

We sell:

ProductType
Paket Juara SD, Paket Juara SMP, Bundel JuaraOne-time, non-consumable
Juara Bulanan, Juara TahunanAuto-renewing subscription

All of them are Family Shareable. Prices are set per territory by Apple’s pricing matrix.

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple In-App Purchase via StoreKit 2. Apple receives your Apple ID, payment method, and billing address. We never see your card details, name, email, or postal address. Entitlement — what the app actually unlocks — is decided on-device from Apple’s signed Transaction.currentEntitlements, which is why the app keeps working offline for a paying family.

RevenueCat as a processor

We use RevenueCat, Inc. as a data processor for subscription analytics — so we can see how many subscriptions are active, renewing, or cancelled. RevenueCat runs in observer mode: it records purchases, it does not decide what you can open.

What RevenueCat receives when you buy or restore:

  • A pseudonymous, randomly generated app-user identifier created by the RevenueCat SDK. It is not your name, email, Apple ID, or advertising identifier.
  • The Apple-signed purchase transaction — product identifier, transaction identifier, purchase and expiry dates, price and currency, renewal and cancellation status. This is your Purchase History, and it is the one category of data this app collects that is linked to that identifier.
  • Standard request metadata: device model, OS version, app version, country/storefront, and a transient IP address used for fraud prevention and coarse country detection.

Because a StoreKit receipt is a single document, a Restore Purchases call inherently carries your one-time packs alongside any subscription. The one-time packs are not configured products in RevenueCat and are not counted as subscription revenue; they may still appear in a raw transaction history.

What RevenueCat does not receive: your XP, nyawa, streak, medals, answers, mistakes, simulasi scores, reported questions, Game Center identity, or any device identifier we could use to track you across apps or websites.

RevenueCat’s handling of this data is governed by RevenueCat’s privacy policy. We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not use it for tracking as Apple defines the term — it is never linked to third-party data for ad targeting or measurement, and no data broker ever receives it.

What this means for Apple’s privacy label

For transparency, the App Store privacy label for Juara OSN declares exactly one item: Purchase History, collected, linked to your identity (through the pseudonymous RevenueCat identifier), used for Analytics and App Functionality, and not used to track you. Nothing else is collected.

7. Content, questions and answers

Every soal, pembahasan, simulasi set, and element in the tabel periodik is bundled inside the app as versioned JSON. There is no content server and no CDN. The app does not phone home to fetch questions, and it does not report which questions you answered, got wrong, or skipped to anyone. Your mistakes exist in exactly one place: the Kotak Ulang on your device.

8. Children’s privacy

Juara OSN is designed for students aged roughly 10–15 and is used, in practice, on shared family devices. We take the same posture we take with our preschool app: collect nothing personal at all.

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, child or adult.
  • There is no way for a child to type identifying information into the app — no name field, no free-text box anywhere, including in Lapor Soal.
  • There is no chat, no messaging, no friend list, no user-generated content, and no way for one player to see another real player’s data inside the app. The only social surface is Apple’s own Game Center leaderboard, which a parent can disable through Screen Time.
  • Purchases go through Apple’s payment sheet, which honours Ask to Buy and Screen Time purchase restrictions.

Because no personal information is collected, we believe no parental consent is required under the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) or Article 8 of the EU GDPR. If a parent or a school would like written confirmation, email us — see section 12.

9. Third parties

The complete list of third parties involved in Juara OSN:

That is the entire list. No Firebase, no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude, no Adjust, no AppsFlyer, no Meta SDK, no Sentry, no Crashlytics, no ad network, and no third-party push provider. Juara OSN links exactly one external Swift package — RevenueCat’s — and nothing else.

10. Data retention & deletion

Because everything the app knows lives on your device, you control retention completely:

  • Setel Ulang Progres in Pengaturan erases progres.json — XP, nyawa, streak, medals, stars, Kotak Ulang, simulasi history, and Liga standing.
  • Deleting the app removes the entire Application Support directory, including the Lapor Soal log. Every byte the app held is gone.
  • Purchases survive deletion by design — they are attached to your Apple ID, and Pulihkan Pembelian brings them back on a new device.

We hold no server-side copy of your progress to delete on your behalf, because we never received one. If you want the pseudonymous purchase record deleted from RevenueCat, email us with the approximate purchase date and store country and we will request its deletion.

11. Your rights

Privacy laws — including the GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA, and Indonesia’s UU No. 27/2022 tentang Pelindungan Data Pribadi (UU PDP) — grant you rights over personal data: access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection. Because the only data we hold about you is a pseudonymous purchase record at our processor, those rights are almost entirely satisfied by default; for the purchase record, write to us and we will act on it.

We do not sell or share personal information, and we have never done so.

12. Contact

Questions about this policy, a deletion request, or a written confirmation for a school: akhaneva.co@gmail.com.

13. Changes to this policy

If we add a feature that changes how data is handled — iCloud progress sync, local streak notifications, a real server-backed Liga, or any new SDK — we will update this page and bump the “last updated” date before that feature ships, and update the App Store privacy label in the same release. Material changes will also appear in the App Store release notes.
